About The Position

The Genesee Brew House Security staff is responsible for the security and safety of the Brew House, parking lot, patrons and employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• NYS Security Guard License and up to date on 16-hour course
• Valid NYS driver’s license required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of one year of security experience

Responsibilities

• Regular rounds of interior and exterior of the building.
• Watch for and report irregularities such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations.
• Contact emergency responders such as police, fire and/or ambulance personnel as required.
• Help patrons as needed.
• Escort employees to their vehicles.
• Posts at Retail Store and Parking Lot to ensure secure and safe environment.
• Assist with outside parking detail for special events.
• Assist with closing of the Brew House, including securing all doors and making interior/exterior rounds.
• Maintain daily log sheet documenting all activities.
• Turn in incident report at the end of each shift.
• Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Keep security vehicle or security booth clean and tidy and locking properly at end of your shift
