About The Position

PTMW, Inc is seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our Weld Shop team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials and full and partial structures within the weld shop and throughout the entire facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of production and supporting overall manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of forklift operation experience
• Current valid driver's license
• Excellent communications skills to deal with both internal & external customers
• Self motivated conscientious worker
• Able to work flexible hours, early or late, depending on needs of the company to include some Saturdays

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience within a weld shop.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and structures to and from weld fixtures and throughout the facility
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment with utmost safety and efficiency, ensuring no damage to products, equipment, or infrastructure
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of production as needed or as assigned.
