About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG Welders/Fabricators for projects located in the York, PA area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Fit, assemble, and prep parts according to blueprints and specifications Inspect and perform quality checks on your own work to meet tolerance standards Clean and finish welds to ensure high-quality results Safely operate hand tools, grinders, and other shop equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of weld symbols and tolerances
- Experience fitting and prepping parts for welding
- Ability to perform your own quality control checks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Flux-core welding experience is a major plus
