Work Description:

Requirements

Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
Technical training or certification in Welding from a recognized institution.
Proficient in TIG, stick, and overhead welding. MIG welding a plus.
Experience with robotic welding and computer-programmed machinery.
Ability to read blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications.
Knowledge of and ability to use tools and machinery used in the welding trade.
Physical ability to handle heavy equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with team members and independently.
Commitment to safety protocols and a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand.
Perform TIG and stick welding according to project needs.
Set-Up, Operate, and Maintain metal laser cutter.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
Produce metal products according to customer or employer specifications.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
Understand and implement personal and company safety measures by using specialized equipment, protective shields, protective clothing, and hand tools.
Inspect and test welds and equipment for durability and specifications.
Monitor work environment for hazards and maintain healthy ventilation levels to avoid particle or gas inhalation.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
Complete quality control forms and other paperwork related to the project.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
