About The Position

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Tech 4 Welder to join our Carlin Surface
Maintenance team to perform mechanical repairs, installations, inspections and
preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment.

The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level
of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive

Requirements

• Must have 2 years journeyman level mill/mine maintenance experience in a mining environment (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Act as a mentor and role model
• Performs all Welding Technician Tech 3 level duties proficiently
• Competent in bed/bucket repair
• Competent in wear iron replacement
• Leads the job in bed/bucket swaps
• Maintain welding certification
