Requirements

Active RN license in good standing.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assisted living, memory care, or related healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of best practices for elderly care, particularly for residents with Dementia.
Expertise in medication and narcotics management within assisted living and memory care.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary nurse overseeing the care of all residents within the Assisted Living community.
Conduct comprehensive face-to-face assessments for new and prospective residents.
Develop and update personalized service plans based on individual health needs.
Monitor residents' ongoing health status and reassess care plans as necessary.
Ensure accurate medication administration and compliance with all regulations.
Oversee and maintain medication records for all residents.
Investigate and address medication errors, implementing corrective action plans as needed.
Monitor caregiver performance and adherence to care procedures.
Provide training, support, and guidance to caregivers on best practices.
Collaborate with hospice providers, occupational therapists, and other specialists to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
