About the position

The role is responsible for advancing the development, implementation, and performance assessment of all strategic marketing for Pinnacle Claims Management (Pinnacle) and Western Growers Assurance Trust (WGAT). The incumbent will work in cross-functional teams and conduct and evaluate industry and market research. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and is a leader in the Marketing Operations team, focused on mixed marketing activity that drives business success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of marketing brand strategies to maintain consistency in branding and message.
  • Establish strategic project goals through gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies with an interdisciplinary team of marketers.
  • Develop and maintain marketing promotional calendars and oversee the implementation.
  • Lead marketing campaigns from the ideation stage through execution, including any marketing activity required for project success.
  • Own the lifecycle of marketing creative briefs. Supervise the scope management of those briefs.
  • Establish and govern quality standards for marketing deliverables.
  • Maintain production markers and facilitate production workflow to ensure deadlines are met within scope and cost.
  • Run the weekly marketing team meeting alongside marketing leadership and facilitate the distribution of work breakdown activity to junior marketing staff.
  • Mentor staff in the operations team to ensure the delivery of meaningful, relevant, well-constructed, and error-free work that meets established deadlines and supports department, company, stakeholder objectives, and priorities.
  • Provide bi-weekly project status reporting to the marketing leadership, including workload and identified risks.
  • Conduct market research and analyze past efforts to present informed plans for building new relationships, increasing customer engagement, and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Manage external stakeholder relationships using communication plans, briefs, and reporting vehicles.
  • Manage the development and delivery of actionable reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Procure and synthesize marketing intelligence and customer insights, serving as a leading authority on our customers, competition and the broader marketplace. Deliver high-quality readouts and recommendations to influence stakeholders across the organization.
  • Utilize all capabilities to satisfy one mission - to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of our members.
  • Maintain internet speed of 40 MB download and 10 MB upload and router with wired Ethernet.
  • Maintain a HIPAA-compliant workstation and utilize appropriate security techniques to ensure HIPAA-required protection of all confidential/protected client data.
  • Maintain and service safety equipment (e.g., smoke detector, fire extinguisher, first aid kit).
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in marketing or related field preferred.
  • Experience in the agriculture, health benefits or health insurance industry highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) preferred; proven experience in marketing to a Spanish speaking population highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation, content management, earned media, paid media, owned media, and marketing analytics.
  • Advanced knowledge of inbound marketing methodology, including performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Demonstrated ability to create marketing strategies to drive demand and introduce, position, market products, and services.
  • Demonstrated communication, relationship building, and collaboration skills across multiple departments, entities, and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including time and task management, delegation, and working collaboratively to meet deadlines and budget requirements, with a record of measurable results.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with track record of leading scalable projects, programs and go-to-markets.
  • Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional partners at multiple levels - including executives.
  • Self-motivated and skilled at managing multiple projects and working in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to tell a story, both verbally and visually.
  • Demonstrated level of professionalism, including the ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
