About The Position

We are seeking a Warehouse Kitting Specialist to be responsible for assembling individual products into groups and packaging them for sale as one unit. This is located at our North facility at 4950 NE 29th, Des Moines, Iowa, 50317.

This position reports to the Warehouse Production Manager.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Basic computer and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to work within established time and quality control goals for this area.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to learn and master new tasks quickly.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with coworkers, managers, and customers

Responsibilities

• Sorts products for packaging by hand and using a collator
• Assembles various products
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate stickering of product 
• Monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products in accordance to standards.
• Inspect in-process packaging to endure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material in the process
• Responsible for moving and handling product 
• Provides assistance in other work-related areas as required.
• Performs other associated duties as assigned
