About The Position
ABBA Roller is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I (Wheel Builder Assistant) to support the assembly and build of rubber wheels. This is an entry-level, hands-on manufacturing role with training provided. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn precision manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or shop experience is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED REQUIRED.
- ENTRY-LEVEL, 0-1 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, NO PRIOR WHEEL-BUILDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
- Good close and distance vision.
- This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a “U.S. person” as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15), which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees, as required by U.S. export control laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and building of rubber wheels under the direction of experienced technicians.
- Prepare materials, hubs, and components for wheel building.
- Support wrapping, handling, and staging of wheels during the build process.
- Perform basic measurements using tools such as calipers and gauges (training provided).
- Assist with operating production equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Conduct visual and basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and on-time delivery.
- Perform additional tasks and support special projects as assigned.
