About The Position

The City of Phoenix is seeking a Windows Desktop Support Technician / User Technology Specialist to provide on-site IT support for the Solid Waste Division. This contractor role will serve as backup IT support to ensure uninterrupted operations during absences of the primary IT staff and to prevent service disruptions.

End-User Assistance and Troubleshooting
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Hardware Inventory & Preventive Maintenance
Document Management Systems

Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

Provide end-user technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
Act as backup IT support specialist for the Solid Waste Division
Manage hardware inventory, deployment, and lifecycle
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain IT documentation
Assist with user training , device deployment, and business process improvements
Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) and document management systems
