About The Position

Acting as a member of the NS IPT SHARKCAGE Engineering Team Performing engineering analysis, testing and evaluation support, and verifying DCO capabilities Installing, configuring and maintaining SHARKCAGE lab components related to Windows Server, networking and local hosting capabilities Serving as the SME for Windows Server systems, with a focus on understanding interdependence and integration with existing network security solutions Assisting with site support as needed for deployed SHARKCAGE systems with respect to network and tap capabilities Assisting with site installations as needed for new SHARKCAGE deployments or upgrades #LI-SF1

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: technology analysis and assessment, design definition, development of systems specification, systems analysis, systems architecture, systems/equipment integration, test - evaluation criteria, and logistics support of C5ISR requirements:
  • Have experience in designing and securing Windows systems, preferably in one or more of Windows Server 2019 or newer, Microsoft Azure and/or Active Directory
  • Have experience utilizing DISA STIGs to harden and secure Windows systems have design, testing and validation experience on DoD-deployed systems
  • DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certifications: Must have one of the following security certifications: CSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP
  • SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY

Nice To Haves

  • Have basic knowledge of IP networking and protocols. Must be able to analyze network traffic at the packet level
  • Have understanding of how to design, develop, install, implement and troubleshoot custom Windows applications, backup solutions, patching solutions, and configuration management solutions
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Broad and in-depth experience with cybersecurity engineering and general systems engineering principles
  • Familiarity with technical writing, with respect to technical system documentation, testing methodologies, requirements analysis and test reports
  • Knowledge of the RMF process and supporting deliverables is a plus
  • Design, testing and validation experience on DoD-deployed systems
