About The Position

Ensuring that product is checked in properly, shelves are stocked; exciting displays are built, and is available for customer’s questions on the floor.

Requirements

A passion for the wine and spirits industry and a genuine interest in the products sold.
Energy and enthusiasm to work, willingness to work in any area of the store that may need assistance, pride in your grooming standards, and a drive to give customers the best shopping experience to keep them coming back.
Entry level, must be 18+ years
Wine, Spirits, and Beer 101
Merchandising 101
Safe Lifting
TiPs Certified
Customer Service Training

Responsibilities

Stocking shelves
building exciting displays
safely operates equipment such as hand trucks, uboats, conveyor, forklifts (where necessary)
Assist in inventory and store moves
signing off on PO’s as deliveries arrive, ensuring accuracy
product placement in stores
helping to keep the store clean
knows the store’s exclusive and focus items
capability to ring on register and cover other areas of the store
Ability to assist customers with the location of products in the store and basic wine pairings.
Assist with other store operations tasks- ie cleaning break area, restrooms, collecting carts, stocking bags and materials at register
Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude, ensuring that each customer feels welcome and appreciated.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store, offering assistance and support where needed.
Ensure that you are following all safety procedures.
Create a memorable shopping experience for our customers
Be a positive ambassador for the store, representing our S.T.E.W. values in all interactions with customers and team members. You are the biggest WOW!
