Wire Center Associate II
About The Position

We are looking for a full-time Wire Center Associate II to join our team and support our branch in Modesto, CA. As our Wire Center Associate II, here are some of the duties the position will be doing: Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently Accurately cut, label, and package wire per customer orders Load and unload materials; complete receiving documention Safely operate wire-cutting machines and related tools Stage and store materials in designated areas Conduct quality inspections on wire products Assist with inventory tasks, including cycle counts and replenishment Support process improvement and maintain a clean workspace Follow all company safety policies and promptly report any damage More about Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool: Over that last decade we have expanded to 15 locations throughout Northern and Central California and are ranked among the top 100 companies in our industry nationally. Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Basic computer skills
- Pass Forklift certification training
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to reach and stretch without personal injury
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a wire center, utility, electrical, and/or distribution or production environment is preferred
