As a Wire Harness Production Technician, you’ll assemble cable kits and wiring harnesses that meet exacting specifications for safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You’ll translate engineering intent into real, working product—inspecting, adjusting, and validating every detail.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on assembly experience and the ability to read and interpret wire diagrams
  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds safely
  • Clear communication skills in English (read, speak, write)
  • Team-first mindset with strong collaboration skills
  • Quick learner who can process information and execute with accuracy
  • Commitment to safety and proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience building wire harnesses and cable kits

Responsibilities

  • Review schematic drawings, diagrams, bills of materials, work orders, specifications, and related reports to determine materials and assembly steps
  • Gather components, then position, align, and secure parts to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames using hand and power tools
  • Measure tolerances with precision instruments such as calipers
  • Align, fit, and assemble components using fixtures, templates, or even microscopes when the work calls for it
  • Inspect surfaces for defects, verify dimensions and clearances to confirm conformance, and fine‑tune completed units so they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
  • Tidy your station and inventory tools
