We’re seeking a skilled Wire &/Or RAM EDM Set Up & Operations Specialist who takes pride in high-precision craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and work that truly matters. NOTE: KMM is an ITAR Registered Facility and thus anyone applying for this role must be a US Citizen or have a valid Green Card. Offered Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Wire EDM &/Or RAM EDM experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Mitsubishi, Makino or similar EDM NC Code and controls
Vocational or apprenticeship background preferred; high school diploma required
Ability to inspect your own work to exacting tolerances and specifications
Passion for doing things right the first time—and making it better the next

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Mitsubishi Wire EDM machines &/Or Makino EDM’s for complex, tight-tolerance parts
Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and setup sheets to plan jobs with accuracy
Modify NC Code to enhance process performance and quality
Conduct in-process inspections and final verifications to ensure conformance to specs
Troubleshoot setups and recommend improvements to tooling, fixtures, and techniques
Maximize lights-out EDM productivity through strategic planning and maintenance
