About The Position

Final preparation of product for finish room operation

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Finishing product, by hand, using a variety of hand tools, including, but not limited to: files various knives, hand routers, sand paper, orbital sander and trimming devices
• Repairing product as necessary using a variety of products, including, but not limited to: putty, bondo, wood filler, and adhesives.
• Repairing product as necessary using a variety of methods and processes
• Checking parts for aesthetics
• Read and comprehend job tickets, drawings, quality policies, procedures, and standards
• Ability to calibrate and use a tape measure, set-up, adjusts and uses small power tools, such as routers and drills.
• Ability to inspect product to insure compliance to standards
• Ability to adequately maintain inventory for all sanding supplies and requisition replenishment as required
