The Work Injury Coordinator will be part of our corporate HR team and collaborate with our Work Injury and Leave Specialist to manage Workers' Compensation claims and implement a safety program for our communities. Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Previous experience with Work Comp administration and/or Safety/Risk Management or Human Resources administrative duties
• Very strong experience with business computer applications to include Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and a familiarity with automated HR systems
• Must be a team player and be adaptable and flexible to help team accomplish goals
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Organization, time management, critical thinking, problem solving/resolution, and decision making skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with management and associates in relation to work comp
• Review work comp reports and coordinate with communities to gather additional information as needed
• Review and approve bona fide offer letters
• Identify preventable injuries and investigate possible solutions with communities
• Administer and monitor Safety programs and Safety Committee
• Serve as the in house expert on safety requirements for each state
• Locate clinics for community occupational health needs
• Set up/charge drug test invoices to all communities
• Distribute updates of forms, processes, changes, and training
• Review work comp documents, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
• Assist with additional reporting as needed
• Potential to help with other HR related needs within the department
