The purpose of the work-study student would be to support the admin, initially, with tasks that would take away from the Admin’s ability to do the tasks they need to for the various departments. The work study student would be responsible for: updating and maintaining a database of contacts at various colleges across the United States (Major task, will take about 30-40 hours per term to complete) helping hang posters around campus for events (Several times a term) creating posters/ flyers for events (As needed) getting the mail and packages from the mailroom (daily) babysitting food for events (As needed) Log hours in Workday (daily) Check paper levels in copier closet (Weekly) Inventory supplies in copier closet, inform admin of anything that needs to be ordered (Weekly) Run errands on Campus (daily) Photocopy/ scan materials for professors (As needed) Brainstorm event ideas/ details (As needed) Helping with mass mailings (As needed) Various other tasks that vary by term
