Our challenge We are seeking an experienced Workday & VNDLY Developer to support and enhance contingent workforce management and HR technology integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and integrating Workday (HCM / Financials / Integrations) with VNDLY (Vendor Management System) to support end-to-end contingent workforce lifecycle processes including requisitions, onboarding, rate management, invoicing, and reporting. Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Workday technical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors).
  • 2+ years experience working with VNDLY (Vendor Management System).
  • Strong knowledge of: Workday HCM data model Contingent workforce lifecycle Rate structures and cost allocation
  • Experience with: REST / SOAP APIs XML / XSLT SFTP Middleware tools (optional: Boomi, MuleSoft)
  • Strong understanding of HR and Procurement business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain integrations between Workday and VNDLY.
  • Develop and support inbound/outbound integrations using: Workday Studio EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) Core Connectors Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • Support VNDLY configuration including: Job requisitions Rate cards Worker onboarding workflows Compliance tracking Time & expense integration
  • Implement and support integrations for: Worker onboarding/offboarding Rate and cost center alignment Financial postings and invoicing Identity management provisioning
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with HR, Procurement, Finance, and Vendor Management teams.
  • Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Support release management and regression testing for Workday & VNDLY updates.
  • Create technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts.
