Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Workers' Compensation claims experience.
  • Possess a valid SIP certification.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • In-depth understanding of Workers' Compensation guidelines and compliance regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and various database management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a current and comprehensive action plan for all assigned indemnity claims
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the California Labor Code as it applies to workers' compensation claims
  • Reviewing billing summaries
  • Identifying any signs of fraud and making proper referrals for further investigation
  • Pursue subrogation when necessary, and offer superior customer service to all parties involved
  • Ensure timely responses to all communications, addressing telephone inquiries
