About The Position

The Relatives Workforce Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of our peer-to-peer street outreach project and serves as a main point of contact for participants at the On Ramp Resource Center. The Workforce Engagement Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and support to young adults with lived experience who are part of the peer street outreach team by equipping them with job readiness skills, workplace etiquette, and professionalism. The Workforce Engagement Specialist is also responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the On Ramp Resource Center which serves as a drop-in center for young adults 16-24 years of age, connecting youth with the required resources in the areas of housing, education, employment, health and safety, and community navigation. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related human service field preferred.
Two years’ experience in the human service field, working with transition age young adults will suffice.
