Hanson Design Build Remodel is seeking a Working Superintendent to run residential remodeling projects from the field. This role combines strong carpentry ability with leadership presence, accountability, and client communication. This is not just a senior carpenter position. This is a field leadership role for someone who wants responsibility, decision-making authority, and influence over outcomes. Learn more about us: www.hansonremodeling.com Position Overview As a Working Superintendent, you are the primary field leader on assigned projects. You oversee daily jobsite activity, coordinate trades, communicate with homeowners, and ensure work is completed to Hanson standards. You may still be growing in certain advanced technical areas, and that's okay. We can train skills. What we cannot train is leadership presence, ownership mentality, and sound judgment. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations on assigned residential remodeling projects Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to maintain workflow and project timelines Perform hands-on carpentry work as needed (framing, structural modifications, finish work, punch work) Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate field execution Monitor jobsite quality and ensure work meets company standards Communicate regularly with homeowners regarding progress, scheduling, and next steps Identify and address field issues proactively to prevent delays or rework Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites Collaborate with the Project Manager on schedule updates and project coordination Document daily jobsite progress, changes, and key communications Ensure projects stay aligned with scope, schedule, and company expectations This role requires someone who is comfortable directing trades, making field decisions, and keeping projects moving forward.
