Responsibilities Working under direct supervision of the Site Network Systems Manager, the Workstation Technician supports the Distribution Services department in the day-to-day operation of the business through desktop, computer functionality, and device management. The Workstation Tech works on Tier 1 moderately complex hardware and software problems. Uses reference manuals, software, and hardware manufacturers, and other sources to resolve hardware and software problems for all areas of the facility as requested or authorized. Provides immediate support to Distribution fulfillment operations Responds to any printer or systems issue preventing or interrupting the fulfillment operation. Effectively prioritizes assigned issues in order to provide efficient and timely customer service and escalates issues as needed Installs desktop, printers, wearable devices, laptop, tablet, video conferencing equipment [Hardware & Software]. Receives, installs, tests, and trains the end user on new desktops. Maintains current software images of major desktop setups Trains fellow staff members on new techniques or new found resolutions as appropriate and completes special requests. Works with team to manage internal periodic departmental moves Sets up Video Conferences as requested Updates and maintains central desktop and peripheral inventory database. Documentation of procedures related to workstation processes. Writes procedures for software and hardware installation. Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned. Min USD $22.60/Hr. Max USD $28.36/Hr.
