About The Position
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT)
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
- Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns to reduce anxiety
- Adjust imaging equipment settings to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed
- Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment and report any malfunctions
- Maintain inventory of radiology supplies and ensure equipment readiness
- Adhere to infection control policies and safety regulations
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
- Stay updated with continuing education and regulatory requirements
