As a new Yard Dog Driver at Barrett Petfood, you can expect a dynamic and engaging daily routine. Your primary responsibilities will include moving raw materials and finished products around the yard, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of trucks. You'll be navigating our facility, maintaining safety standards, and keeping the yard organized and tidy.
Expect a Friday, Saturday, & Sunday schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing you to enjoy a 3 day work week while being part of a high-performance team. Each day presents unique challenges, ensuring that your role is both impactful and rewarding as you contribute to our commitment to customer-centricity and safety.

Requirements

• Strong driving skills, particularly in maneuvering large vehicles in tight spaces
• Experience with yard trucks or similar equipment will be beneficial
• Attention to detail is crucial for safety and ensuring that materials are accurately transported and delivered
• Effective communication skills will help you collaborate with warehouse staff and address any logistical challenges that arise throughout the day
• Problem-solving abilities are essential, allowing you to think on your feet and adapt to changing circumstances
