About The Position

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have 6-months Forklift experience.
• Must Wear PPE and follow all safety policies and procedures .
• Must be willing to work weekends and overtime if scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing and able to follow all safety rules and plant GMPs.
• Maintain trailer seal log.
• Check and fuel refrigerated trailers.
• Shuttle trailers to needed docks and/or off-site locations.
• Maintain Daily Trailer Inventory Sheets.
• Report any damage or needed repairs to supervisor.
• Keep equipment clean and orderly at all times.
• Must be willing and able to cross train as Material Handler.
• Assist with housekeeping in the yard and dock areas.
• Perform any additional duties as needed to assist the department.
• Must be willing and able to maintain Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
• Ability to use problem solving skills and work well under pressure.
• Must be willing to communicate verbally with team members.
• Must be willing to operate equipment safely.
• Must be willing to lift up to 50lbs occasionally throughout shift.
