About The Position

This is an entry-level Yard Laborer position in Avella, PA. In this role, you will support daily yard operations, and basic equipment operation to ensure a safe, and organized environment. These are full-time positions with competitive salary and benefits available. Wage: $18.00+/hr, with potential for overtime

Requirements

Strong desire to learn, and take on a variety of labor tasks and equipment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail.
Demonstrated reliability in performance, attendance, and punctuality.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
Ability to pass background check, and drug & alcohol test required.
Willingness to have exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, dust, and dirt.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, squat,and handle or grasp tools, equipment, and materials.
Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50–75 lbs.
Ability to acquire PPE such as safety toe boots, hard hat, and Hi-Vis clothing

Responsibilities

Perform general labor and maintenance duties to support daily operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, including shoveling, and removing debris or excess materials.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently within its designed parameters, assist with basic maintenance tasks such as oiling and greasing equipment as assigned.
Load, unload, move, and organize materials within the yard.
Assist maintenance, operations, and other departments as needed to meet business demands.
Identify and promptly communicate issues, safety concerns, or mechanical issues to supervisors.
Be proactive to eliminate hazards and maintain clear, safe work areas.
Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
