Yoga Instructor (On-Call) - Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach
About The Position
Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach is looking for a Yoga Instructor to join the Spa & Fitness Team! This luxurious oceanfront retreat offers a world of style, service and connection with globally inspired architecture and design. The hotel has 290 rooms with an expansive pool terrace with private cabanas, a 6th floor fitness center, a tranquil boutique Spa, over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 5 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant, pool side grill, cocktail lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining. In the role, you will lead sunrise yoga classes (starting at 7.30am) throughout the week. Classes will have up to 12 participants per session. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual and excel at providing exceptional customer service. A minimum of two (2) years experience as a yoga instructor with the ability to successfully design and facilitate yoga classes which cater to participants across varying levels of experience is required. Responsibilities
- Provide, teach and facilitate individual and group exercise instruction and workouts for members and guests
- Ensure safe exercise practice through observation, correction, assistance and answering questions
- Ensure current knowledge of exercise techniques and trends
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, as needed
- Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness of work area including, but not limited to, the facility, locker rooms, studios, machines and equipment in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards
- Assist in monitoring facility use to ensure guest safety
- Perform general Club duties, as needed
