The Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks & Recreation, is hiring an Activity Camp [Youth Art] Instructor to deliver camps at Montlake Community Center. The Youth Art Instructor will be responsible for programming and delivering several art-related summer camps to children aged 5-12 years. The Youth Art Instructor will be responsible for creating lessons and teaching the fundamentals of art and creative projects. The instructor must have the ability to engage with a diverse group of children and manage a classroom of students. A passion for teaching and art are a must! Schedule Monday – Friday approx. 21.25 hours per week. Approx. 8:30am-12:45pm (with participants 9-12pm). Hours not guaranteed and depend on enrollment. Note: this is 1.25 hours paid prep per day without participants. Hiring by Date: June 5, 2026 Training dates: On-site training will take place between June 24 and June 26, 2026. Details TBD.
