Clarvida is seeking Youth Peer Support Specialists to support young people experiencing a behavioral health crisis at our Youth Behavioral Health Community Crisis Center. Youth in crisis require focused attention, skilled intervention, and compassionate guidance. In this role, you will use your lived experience to promote recovery, resiliency, self-advocacy, and empowerment. You will help youth understand their role in accessing services, become informed consumers of their care, and navigate the crisis center environment. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will use crisis-intervention skills to help de-escalate, stabilize, and support youth through immediate behavioral health needs. If you are not yet certified as a Youth Peer Support Specialist through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, you may still apply. If you meet state requirements and are interested in becoming certified, please include a cover letter expressing your interest. Clarvida may assist with certification costs after hire.
