The Youth Housing Case Manager is essential in supporting and serving youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in Riverside County, specifically targeting former foster youth and unhoused youth ages18- 24. The role includes administering extended rental assistance based on individual needs and addressing the unique challenges faced by various subpopulations, including pregnant and parenting youth, LGBTQ+ youth, survivors of sexual trafficking and exploitation, youth with justice system involvement, and neurodivergent youth. Reporting to the Transitional Housing Manager, the Youth Housing Case Manager will provide comprehensive case management and tailored guidance to empower these young individuals in their journey toward independent living and adulthood. Collaboration with various stakeholders is crucial to create a supportive environment that promotes personal growth, independence, and successful outcomes for the youth served. The position requires a commitment to advocacy, support, and a nurturing approach to foster resilience and empowerment among the participants.
