About The Position

Imagine being the best part of a child’s week. Soccer Shots is a weekly soccer program for children 2-10 years old with a focus on character development. We are looking for enthusiastic coaches to positively impact children on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum, and communication. Our ready-to-use curricula allows you to focus on making class fun for our young athletes without worrying about what to teach. Sessions are taught in daycare, preschools, elementary schools, and parks throughout the week. Our themed sessions, which run 30-55 mins, focus on age-appropriate skill-building and character development. We provide training, coaching equipment, and all curriculum materials. We train the best coaches in the business We put every Soccer Shots coach through our comprehensive training program to receive certification that includes learning the use of developmentally appropriate coaching techniques. Our coaches are routinely evaluated and undergo ongoing training. Our coach selection process evaluates not only the ability to coach soccer, but, more importantly, the ability to engage and inspire children. Our families experience exceptional customer service and ongoing communication Members of the Soccer Shots team must be excellent communicators – with children, with parents, with partners and with each other! Our team understands the importance of timely, responsive communication. We use expert-approved curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards Our developmentally appropriate curriculum places an emphasis on character development and skill building. Our program is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players and experienced and licensed soccer coaches. We constantly re-evaluate and update our curriculum to stay current with childhood education standards. Requirements

Availability – Weekday availability (Monday through Friday). Saturday required
Children THRIVE when they have consistent coaching, we are looking for coaches who can stay with us for a year or more
Fun & Silly – MUST enjoy teaching young children, your goal is to make Soccer Shots the best 30-45 minutes of each child's week.
Reliable transportation – must have safe and reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license.
Background check cleared – must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
Tb test results

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children
CPR/First Aid certified or ability to attain if needed.
Previous teaching or education/coaching experience (preferably children ages 2-10)
