About The Position
The Youth Worker will work as part of the P.R.I.M.E. Leaders Afterschool Program leading fun, skill-based activities in areas like dance, arts, sports, and more. Will also provide homework help and collaborate with Group Leaders to support participant growth. Must have a strong interest in working with youth. The Youth Worker will also help students prepare for projects geared toward community issues as well as special presentations related to monthly themes.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent required; some college a plus
- Relevant work experience with children
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast- paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfort working in team settings and with diverse individuals
- Possess organizational, verbal, written and communication skills
- Must be computer literate
