Role Description Summer Analysts focusing on Private Capital Markets at FT Partners plays a key role in strengthening the firm’s relationships with the investor universe and executing on capital raise and M&A processes. Summer Analysts supporting PCM will concentrate on developing and maintaining the tools critical to strengthen this network and improve deal execution for our clients. In support of the firm’s capital markets efforts, Summer Analysts in this role will collect and utilize market data to improve investor targeting efforts and assist in new investor discovery to expand our network. They will assist in the creation of marketing and other materials to help improve connectivity with investors. In addition, there will be a focus on building the internal infrastructure and robust datasets necessary to enable us to provide better solutions for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work side by side with senior bankers and other groups within the firm in an entrepreneurial and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Master students with a graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027
  • Undergraduate degree with a 3.5 GPA or greater
  • Strong work ethic and a drive for excellence
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and takes initiative
  • High-level of integrity and ethical standards through action and behavior
  • Ability to competently navigate investment firms and speak with investment professionals
  • Investment banking or related interest (venture capital, private equity and/or capital markets is a plus)
  • Maturity and poise to work with senior bankers and investors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously delivering top-quality work
  • Proven to success working under pressure amid tight deadlines
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization. FT Partners will not sponsor applicants for work visas at application or in the future.
