The Apollo Human Capital (HC) team is responsible for managing HC processes and strategic initiatives which span the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, organization planning, compensation, analytics, immigration and employee engagement. Given the variety of functions that comprise the Human Capital team, this internship is open to a variety of areas including Talent Development, HR Operations, Compensation, and strategic Business Partner roles. You’ll partner with junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects across the team. You’ll also Support a wide range of HC projects and initiatives across Recruiting, Business Partnership, Operations, Talent Development, etc., based on team priorities and business needs Partner with HC team to assist with day-to-day tasks and longer-term initiatives Contribute to cross-functional initiatives such as process improvements, documentation updates, engagement programs, data tracking, etc. Conduct research and create summaries to support HC decision-making and program development Build meaningful relationships and a strong understanding of various HC functions and how it supports the broader business Use AI tools to suggest improvements to Human Capital processes Work closely with the Talent team on elements of the employee experience (e.g., engagement, culture, training and development, etc.) Support special projects and bring innovative thinking, creativity, and an analytical mindset to every project Our 10-week Summer Program provides full immersion into the small, dynamic teams that drive Apollo’s innovative investment strategies and access to an unparalleled, apprenticeship learning experience. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Class of 2027) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field with an excellent academic record and a demonstrated interest in finance/human capital through previous internships, jobs, and coursework
  • A critical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications
  • A collaborative thinker who can also work independently, multitask, and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and organized self-starter with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic, strong attention to detail, and experience and comfort in Excel
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Co-Pilot, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with HRIS tool is a plus
