About The Position

Arts & Science is seeking a talented Academic Advisor to join the New Students team in the College of Arts & Science. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of New Students, the Academic Advisor of First & Second Year Experience will advise a significant cohort of undergraduate students, assist with the planning and development of signature advising programs and is responsible for supporting and collaborating on initiatives designed around augmenting the first and second year experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts discipline or relevant field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in advising, including programming development and implementation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to advise and support diverse student populations and have a strong commitment to liberal arts education.
• Ability to communicate effectively to individuals at all levels.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of related experience.
