About The Position

The Account Executive Inside Sales partners closely with the Outside Sales Team to drive revenue growth and expand market presence within assigned regions. This role is responsible for supporting strategic sales initiatives, strengthening relationships with existing Biocare clients, and proactively developing new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with two to five (2-5) years of relevant Sales and Industry experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, persuasive sales presentations and build strong, collaborative working relationships in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including advanced computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with the initiative to expand product knowledge and industry expertise beyond initial corporate training.
  • Effective internet research and information-gathering skills to support prospecting and client engagement efforts.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Histology and Immunohistochemistry strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical, life sciences, laboratory capital equipment, or consumable sales preferred.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage pipeline activity, track customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales records preferred.
  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required. Up to 25% of travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Outside Sales Team to retain existing business and achieve territory sales growth targets for reagents and instrumentation.
  • Proactively generate new revenue opportunities by prospecting, building and managing a robust sales pipeline, qualifying leads, and supporting the close of new business.
  • Deliver timely, professional sales support and customer service via phone and email to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Management, Marketing, R&D, Technical Support, and Field Applications to secure new business, coordinate client training, and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Maintain consistent in-office presence and adhere to designated “prime call time” schedules as directed by the Director of Sales.
  • Represent the organization at tradeshows, seminars, and workshops as required to support lead generation and brand awareness efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activity in Salesforce.com [//Salesforce.com].
  • Communicate proactively with clients regarding product availability, including backorders and discontinuations, ensuring transparency and continuity of service.
  • Qualify and route incoming leads appropriately and coordinate with the Outside Sales Team to schedule face-to-face appointments and advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics for calls, emails, and pipeline development.
  • Comply with all Biocare Medical policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
