The best run DevOps teams in the world choose Perforce. Position Summary: Our Manager of Sales for the Puppet team at Perforce is searching for an Account Executive to join the team. The Account Executive at Perforce is a key contributor within the sales organization, responsible for driving revenue, managing customer relationships, and executing effective sales strategies. This role is ideal for a hunter‑minded sales professional experienced in software sales, with SaaS and cloud sales experience strongly preferred . Individuals in this role are expected to demonstrate strong prospecting capabilities, operate independently, and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver customer success. This position supports our Puppet commercial sales team. More than 40,000 organizations trust Puppet to innovate through IT infrastructure automation. Puppet helps customers strengthen their security posture, compliance standards, and business resiliency beyond the data center to the cloud.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with software sales; SaaS and cloud sales experience strongly preferred
  • Strong prospecting skills and a hunter sales mentality
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in forecasting and sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC

Responsibilities

  • Act as a hunter to identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts
  • Meet established sales objectives and quotas
  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting and pipeline development
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies
  • Assist senior sales professionals in complex sales situations
  • May be required to support additional products/brands as needed
