About The Position

AquaPhoenix Scientific, headquartered in Hanover, PA has an immediate opening for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our accounting team. The successful candidate for this role will have strong attention to detail, and sound analytical skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to thrive in a casual, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the Accounts Payable Associate position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience in accounts payable or related role. degree in accounting or business administration is preferred but not required. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Review purchase invoices with receiving documentation and obtain payment approvals for expense invoices
  • Enter accounts payable invoices into system for payment to ensure payments are made in a timely manner
  • Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management in accordance with records and retention policies and procedures
  • Communicate with vendors regarding all aspects of the accounts payable function (payments, discrepancies, credits, terms, etc.)
  • Stay current on knowledge of sales tax regulations
  • Perform account analysis of assigned expense accounts
  • Cross trains to perform other duties within accounting department and interact daily with vendors, coworkers and management in a professional manner.
