Role and Responsibilities Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected senior or recently graduated students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Applications submitted after the application window or once a role is closed/projects are full will not be considered. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to join our Finance and Accounting team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. As an Accounting Intern, you will assist in managing financial records, supporting accounting processes, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial analysis, and business operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax documents and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Conduct research on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to inform financial processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on financial performance and recommendations.
