About The Position

Sterling is a fast-growing, award-winning technology company focused on hardware, software, and technology services for Government, Education and Commercial customers. Sterling is looking for motivated, professional-minded student who is interested in working to support our corporate accounting staff. The Accounting internship is a paid full-time seasonal position starting in mid-May and ending in mid-August.

• Candidates for the Internships must be entering their junior or senior year of college.
• Candidate’s course of study must pertain to the Internship position to which they are applying.

Responsibilities

• Perform requested tasks in support of senior staff in accounting.
• Interface with other internal departments such as marketing, accounting, purchasing, or sales.
• Communicate with external customers and suppliers.
• Learn all processes, procedures and assist staff in areas of need.
• Perform data entry tasks in Excel and online.
• Research topics online as requested by management.
• Print or make copies, file and sort documents
