About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager, Revenue to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience and a CPA. In this high-visibility role, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires attendance in the Atlanta or Morristown office on a hybrid basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting management, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, operational accounting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a curious mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the general ledger process to estimate and record revenue for the Zelis Price business unit. This includes the calculation of monthly revenue and AR reserve estimates.
  • Support the monthly calculation of revenue KPIs and other critical estimates that drive business results and inform business actions.
  • Support process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives in the order-to-cash process
  • Perform analytic review of revenue results and document analysis.
  • Design and maintain strong internal controls surrounding key processes (BS account recs, accounting estimates, etc.) and ensure data integrity across all financial reporting.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with external auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, transparent, and timely reporting and deliverables.
