About The Position

Are you kind, organized, reliable and creative individual? Do you have a depth of knowledge in payroll and finance that is looking for the next step in your career? DMOS is recruiting a Accounts Payable and Payroll Manager to manage, oversee, improve and produce accurate accounting outcomes. This role involves managing the planning and execution of accounts payable teams and payroll processes, being a resource for leaders and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels for those impacted. This role is a rare full-time position for a professional who has honed a leadership presence through prior professional experience in a Payroll leadership and/or Accounts Payable role, and is looking for next steps of being a working manager. In this full-time, in office position, you will work with physicians and senior leadership from the DMOS West Des Moines location. To thrive in this role, a person must be highly organized, creating and responding to requests accordingly.

Requirements

  • Skilled. Professional experience in Intaact, UKG, KRONOS and or similar products.
  • Calm. Ability to communicate calmly with leaders, physicians and (at times) the public.
  • Professional. Display professionalism when interacting with others.
  • Multi-tasker. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time while staying organized.
  • Curiosity. Ability to practice the art of listening, asking clarifying questions and avoiding interrupting.
  • Experience. Prior hands on experience in payroll and accounts payable preferred.
  • Dependability. Ensures projects and events are executed timely and supports the overall efficiency of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing Intacct Accounting Software to manage the Accounts Payable process
  • Utilizing the UKG payroll and KRONOS timekeeping systems to produce biweekly payroll for up to 400 employees
  • Utilizing Office 365 products to organize event schedules, external communications and general communications
  • Working alongside Senior Leadership to establish direction and priorities.
  • Working in a private office, at the desk, for some extended periods of time that may seem unnatural.
