About The Position

The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for all accounts payable functions for Agronomics Services. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with others in the accounting department.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 2 or more years of accounting related experience
• Intermediate computer and software skills required.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing
• Entering and uploading invoices into the accounting system
• Processing invoices and checks in an accurate and timely manner
• Communicating with vendors regarding payment status, invoice requests and inquiries as needed
• Reconcile and process freight invoices
• Research and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
• Assist with month-end closing
• Providing supporting documentation for audits
• Perform other duties as assigned.
