About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee and manage the end-to-end accounts payable process. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, maintain positive vendor relationships, and collaborate effectively across departments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in end-to-end accounts payable process.
  • Experience processing invoices for a manufacturing company.
  • Proven experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
  • Ability to process no less than 200 invoices per week.
  • Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong customer service focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive in anticipating issues and able to think outside of the box to resolve issues promptly.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel required.
  • Experience with Tipalti (AP Software) and Ramp (Credit Card processing) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including timely and accurate invoice processing as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Receiving to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and document root causes of payment delays and errors, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and identify process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Enforce the corporate credit card policy, manage card setup, monitor for fraud, and conduct monthly statement reviews.
  • Enforce the travel and expense policy, facilitate approvals, and manage payments.
  • Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with external financial statement audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including annual 1099 filings.
