Pay Range: $86,964.80 - $130,631.49 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Overview ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Facilitates Capital Health Cancer Center (CHCC) readiness with statutory mandates and regulatory requirements including without limitation the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, NJ Department of Health and DNV. Coordinates accreditation readiness by monitoring, gathering data, submitting applications and participating actively in surveys from the Commission on Cancer, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer, American College of Radiology, National Pancreas Foundation Clinical Center of Excellence and other relevant organizations. Reviews national cancer indicators as proposed by our accrediting bodies and assesses the CHCC compliance with these indicators. Works on process improvement projects related to accreditation requirements or as otherwise directed by the CHCC leadership. Oversees, plans, prepares, reviews and analyzes data to identify problems, trends and improvement opportunities. Oversees, designs, and improves process workflows to optimize efficiency, patient satisfaction and control unit cost. Assists in the development of CHCC specific reports, spreadsheets, scorecards, dashboards and presentations by reviewing clinical and volume utilization data. Prepares the ACS NSQIP collaborative reports for the cancer center. Develops and facilitates CHCC mortality and morbidity meetings. Develops and updates, in collaboration with the clinicians of the CHCC, evidence-based clinical protocols and pathways and policies and procedures of the CHCC. Participates in clinical research projects upon request. Supports preparation of abstracts and manuscripts for publication. Performs other duties as assigned.
