About The Position

The Educational Leadership and Foundations Department in the McKay School of Education is hiring an adjunct professor to teach a graduate course in collaborative educational leadership. The purpose of this course is to help educational leaders understand collaborative leadership theories and develop practices leading to meaningful change in educational organizations and institutions at the micro and macro levels.

Requirements

  • MS in Educational Leadership or a related field is required. PhD or EdD in a related field preferred.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • In-depth understanding of educational leadership in schools
  • Understanding of modern educational systems, institutions, and practices
  • Experience effectively teaching in-person or online, or aptitude to do so
  • Commitment to Christlike leadership and service.

  • This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach EDLF 701: Collab Leadership for Change, a 3-credit course, which involves the following:
  • Planning and delivering lessons once each week, with a 6-hour session on Saturday.
  • Grading students’ assignments.
