About The Position

We’re looking for an experience Administration Manager to fill this role, which is based at our Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. The Administration Manager oversees administrative functions, with direct responsibility for Accounting, Forecasting, and Payroll across all departments at the lodge. This role ensures efficient business processes, compliance with policies and regulations, and a high standard of employee support. The manager leads a small seasonal team, establishes clear workflows, and works closely with leadership to support organizational goals. Additionally, this role participates in the Manager on Duty program to support summer operations on location. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred, Accounting or equivalent experience considered.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in administration or management, ideally overseeing multiple functions.
  • Knowledge of accounting and forecasting principles, and financial controls.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America Line/Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of computer business applications, point of service systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and organization of record keeping.
  • Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable, deposits and refunds, and night audit process
  • Supervise accounting clerk and ensure compliance
  • Manage operational financial needs along with payroll processing, ensuring RAAS compliance across the entire operation
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, reports, and expense tracking for all departments
  • Support cross-departmental needs with employee engagement, training, and auditing
  • Participate in Manager on Duty responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
