About The Position

Summary: For this position you are the welcoming face to Greater Omaha. Each person must be greeted with smile and a positive attitude. RESPONSIBILITIES: Receptionist Duties such as answering phones, welcoming and assisting visitors Assisting with EDI invoicing and acknowledgements Assisting with ordering office supplies. Administrative duties as assigned, which vary from day to day. QUALIFICATIONS: Self-Motivated Highly Detail Oriented Strong Organizational Skills Strong Computer Skills (short test could be requested) Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual preferred (but not required) EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Must have a high school diploma and at least 2 yrs. Experience in an office or related setting. Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work with little supervision in a fast-paced, multi-task, team environment. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety files, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively communicate with USDA, production and management personnel. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by industry and the ability to learn and effectively use all other computer programs that are or will be made available. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak; hear taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment includes normal office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Normal Work Schedule: The typical working hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch.
