About The Position

Provide secretarial support to all agency staff with word processing, copying, mailings, supplies and other general office requests. Support Secretarial Department with telephone relief, and ability to process mail as requested.

Requirements

  • Extensive computer software experience including Microsoft office products
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of CAU staff and within the community
  • Ability to express oneself, both in writing and verbally, in a comprehensive manner using the English language
  • Good planning and organization skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and work independently
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Demonstrates responsible leadership, mentoring and role-modeling
  • Access to a car, valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • Min. high school diploma/GED with business school background/certificate preferred.
  • Three years' experience in administrative/secretarial support functions

Responsibilities

  • Performs data entry and word processing of documents and scanning documents for storage and projects as requested
  • Maintains general office equipment including copiers, facsimiles, etc.
  • Assists in general office activities and procedures
  • Maintains Agency keys and related records
  • Sorts, records and distributes Agency mail as appropriate
  • Coordinate the receipt of money within policy
  • Participate in office opening and closing procedures
  • Maintains office supplies
  • Answers switchboard as needed
  • Cooperate with any Agency, DDD, and DCP&P investigation and inspection
  • Ensures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting), Central Registry, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), drug testing, and motor vehicle checks.
  • Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
  • All other duties as assigned
